Closing Ceremony of Sanskrit Classes and Visit of Hon. TTC Director to Hannover

On 28th October 2018, the Director of the Tagore Center, Embassy of India, Berlin, Hon. Ms. Malathi Rao Vadapalli, visited Hannover for the closing ceremony of the first ever Sanskrit Course for Beginners organized by the Indian Association Hannover in cooperation with the Embassy of India, Berlin and Volkshochschule Hannover. Mr. Saravanan Ganesan, Embassy of India, Berlin also accompanied her to Hannover.

 

The Hon. TTC Director, Ms Vadapalli discussed important aspects for the preparations of upcoming events of 2019 with IASH and VHS Hannover. 

 

The Hon. TTC Director also visited the Mahatma Gandhi Bust, inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi in Hannover in the year 2015. Ms. Vadapalli also visited the Rathaus (Town Hall of Hannover).

First Ever Sanskrit Course

(For Beginners)

Indian Association Hannover in association with the Volkshochschule Hannover and The Tagore Center, the Cultural Wing of the Embassy of India, Berlin has organized the FIRST EVER Sanskrit Language Course for beginners from 15th September 2018 to 28th October 2018. The course will be taught by Ms. Luise Susanne Hess who is a student of Prof. Sadanand Das at the University of Leipzig.
The course successfully started on 15th September 2018 with 8 registered participants. The classes are scheduled on 4 weekends in September and October 2018. At the end of the course, the participants will be awarded a certificate by the Volkshochschule Hannover.
