MTV herrenhausen cricket club Hanover (MTV stallions CC), formerly known as HC Hannover (HCH). Cricket in hannover has been affiliated with Deutsche Cricket Bund (DCB) since June 2009 playing under the banner of Hannover Club von Hockey (HCH). Under HCH, MCC took part in the Bundesliga organised by the DCB for Nord Deutsche Cricket Verien (NDCV).
After many trails and tribulations ranging from establishing cricket pitches to constructing infrastructure for cricket, their hard work, dedication and passion to the cricket helped them top the NDCV league. They triumphed at the final test securing the title of North German Champions (NDCV-2011). Besides this glory they also have topped the T20 and Indoor leagues.
They are working towards taking the game forward by opening upto schools there by encouraging youth participation.
More to go and more to achieve is the motto, which is the driving force behind cricket in Hannover.
They are specially interested in building up youth participation which they believe will help to spread cricket in Hannover. They are interested in coaching youngsters to build a team for the future of German Cricket.
