On 17 June 2017 EAM inaugurated a portal for Know India Programme (KIP), the Ministry’s flagship initiative for engagement with young overseas Indians. The portal www.kip.gov.in enables Indian-origin youth to apply online for KIP programmes.

Know India Programme (KIP) is a flagship initiative for Diaspora engagement which familiarizes overseas Indians with their Indian roots and contemporary India, through a three-week orientation programme organised by the Ministry. Since 2004, 40 KIPs have been organized in partnership with State Governments with a total of 1293 participants.

The schedule of the 45 and 46 KIPs has been finalised and can be seen online. Indian-origin youth can submit applications online for the following two KIPs to be held in 2018 i.e. 45 and 46:

Deadline for submitting online applications for the 45^th and 46^th KIPs is 19^thNovember 2017.  The entire process of applying, processing etc. can now be done through the portal : www.kip.gov.in.
